Built-in circa 1863 in the High Victorian Gothic style House comprises 10,904 square feet of accommodation over two storeys and a small basement level. Most attractive with an exposed stone exterior and high-pitched slate roof with a distinctive polychrome pattern on the slates. All the principal rooms offer guests panoramic lake views and benefit from having bright south or west-facing orientation.
The lavish interiors feature generous room proportions, tall ceilings and large windows to provide spacious and bright accommodation. Exquisite features include ornate cornicing and central rose plasterwork, beautiful wide plank timber flooring boards, carved timber architraves to doors and windows complete with the original window shutters.

Lough Derg lies on the navigable River Shannon waterway and offers excellent trout, pike and bream fishing. Canoeing, water-skiing, kayaking, windsurfing, cruising and sub-aqua diving. Towns and villages along the shores provide a wealth of lively pubs, traditional Irish music, bistros and restaurants along with antiquities, art, architecture and crafts.
